Starting today, the newly revised "Methods for Handling Complaints and Reports in Market Supervision and Management" will officially come into effect. The methods target malicious claims and prevent abuse of the system. The methods also specify that illegal claims such as extortion and fraudulent claims for compensation will result in the termination of mediation and referral to the public security organs for legal processing.
