Anthropic spokesperson confirmed that with this pricing adjustment, Claude Enterprise Edition clients will need to pay an additional fee based on the amount of computational capacity consumed when using the software, in addition to the fixed fee of $20 per user per month. Claude Enterprise Edition is a product suite targeted at large enterprises, launched two years ago, currently including the code tool ClaudeCode and the office assistant ClaudeCowork. Frederick Phillips, co-founder of software licensing consultancy firm RedressCompliance, stated that previously customers paid a maximum of $200 per authorized user per month, with the subscription providing a fixed amount of discounted token usage. He estimated that for some high-frequency users, this pricing adjustment for Anthropic Claude Enterprise Edition will double their costs, or even increase them to three times the original amount.
