Morgan Stanley maintained its Brent crude oil price forecast on Monday, predicting $110 per barrel for the second quarter of 2026, $100 per barrel for the third quarter, and a decrease to $80 per barrel in 2027. The bank stated that even if the Strait of Hormuz reopens, it is expected to take several months for the oil supply chain to return to normal. In its base case scenario, export volumes through the Strait of Hormuz in April will remain low, with around 70% of the lost volume recovered between May and July, and returning to stable levels by October.
