Zhejiang clarifies matters related to the prevention and vaccination service fees.

The Development and Reform Commission of Zhejiang Province and the Provincial Department of Finance recently issued a notice, clarifying that when disease prevention and control agencies at all levels and their commissioned vaccine administration units provide non-immunization planning vaccine administration services, in addition to charging for the vaccine cost, they can also charge a prevention vaccination service fee to the vaccine recipients or their guardians, with a fee standard of 23 yuan per dose. The prevention vaccination service fee includes the costs of registration, pre-examination, administration, observation, and vaccination supplies for non-immunization planning vaccines. The prevention vaccination service fee is an administrative fee, which is fully handed over to the national treasury, included in the general public budget, and managed under the "two lines for revenue and expenditure" system. The notice will take effect from the date of issuance and will be valid for two years.
