On April 12th, CEO Zhou Guang of the autonomous driving technology company Yuanrong Qixing confirmed that Ruan Chong, the core researcher of DeepSeek multimodal technology, had joined the company several months ago as the chief scientist. It is reported that Yuanrong Qixing has established the pedestal model as a key strategic direction for their technology, which is a major reason that attracted Ruan Chong to join. Zhou Guang stated that in the next stage, the key to the competition in assisted driving is no longer just algorithm optimization, but the evolution of system cognitive ability. The pedestal model is propelling assisted driving from functional upgrade towards cognitive upgrade. By 2026, Yuanrong Qixing plans to push the scale of mass delivery of assisted driving systems to over 1 million vehicles.
