On April 12th, as the cutterhead of the tunnel-boring machine slowly broke through the soil, the Ling Mountain branch line of the Emperor's Ridge Tunnel, B6 section of the Guangxi Water Resources Configuration Project in the North Bay area, successfully completed tunneling. This is the longest axis mud-water balanced top-down tunnel that has been completed in Guangxi, laying a solid foundation for the entire project to be put into operation. The Guangxi Water Resources Configuration Project in the North Bay area is a key project in building the backbone of the national water network and constructing the main artery of the Guangxi water network with the concept of "two horizontal and eight vertical, six rivers connected". With a total investment of nearly 28 billion yuan, a total length of 491.1 kilometers for the water transmission line, and benefiting a population of 14 million, this project is the largest cross-basin water transfer project in Guangxi's history, with the most population benefiting and the longest water transmission line.
