Report: SoftBank, NEC, Honda, and Sony jointly establish a new artificial intelligence company.

According to media reports on Sunday, SoftBank, NEC, Honda, and Sony will each hold approximately 10% of the shares in the new company, which is expected to hire around 100 artificial intelligence developers. The report did not disclose the source of the information. SoftBank and NEC will be responsible for the development of basic artificial intelligence models, while Honda and Sony plan to apply artificial intelligence in areas such as automotive, robotics, gaming, and semiconductors. Nippon Steel, as well as major banks like Mitsubishi UFJ, Sumitomo Mitsui, and Mizuho, will participate in the investment as minority shareholders. The artificial intelligence model will be available for use by Japanese companies, and even non-investors can customize and deploy it.
