Turkey conducts deep-sea oil and gas exploration for the first time overseas.

According to Turkish media reports on the 10th, the Somali government held a welcoming ceremony in the capital Mogadishu, welcoming the Turkish deepwater drilling ship "Challenger Bey" which arrived near the Somali coast on the 9th. This marks Turkey's first overseas deep-sea oil and gas exploration drilling operation.
