On April 11, the first unit rotor of the Huadian Jinshang Lawa Hydropower Station was successfully hoisted, marking the entry of the unit into the final assembly sprint stage, laying a solid foundation to ensure timely power generation. The Huadian Jinshang Lawa Hydropower Station is located on the main stream of the Jinsha River at the border of Sichuan Province and the Tibet Autonomous Region. It is the 8th-level cascade hydropower station on the upper reaches of the Jinsha River and is also an important part of the national "14th Five-Year Plan" key construction project for the Jinsha River Upper Reaches Water and Scenery integrated base. The total installed capacity is 2 million kilowatts. The rotor of the first unit hoisted this time has a diameter of 13.43 meters, a height of 3.10 meters, and a total weight of approximately 1007 tons, making it the heaviest component of the Lawa Hydropower Station unit.
