Guangzhou Automobile Group Chairman Feng Xingya: It is expected that the discharge volume of V2G microgrid will exceed 1.5 million kilowatt-hours this year.

At the High-level Forum on the Development of Intelligent Electric Vehicles, Feng Xingya, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of GAC Group, stated that GAC has invested over 62 billion yuan in independent research and development, and will complete 68 OTA upgrades by 2025, with over 700 new optimized functions added. In terms of energy replenishment, the future will see the parallel development of three energy replenishment modes: private slow charging piles, public fast charging piles, ultra-fast charging, and battery swapping. To this end, GAC has built a network of public fast charging piles covering 213 cities nationwide, as well as a battery swapping network. At the same time, a V2G microgrid has been established and is currently undergoing trial operations, with an expected discharge of over 1.5 million kWh this year.
