Former Vice Minister of Industry and Information Technology Su Bo discusses the phenomenon of "internal competition" in the automotive industry: clear standards are needed, and normal price competition is the driving force behind survival of the fittest.
Su Bo, former deputy secretary of the Party Group and deputy minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, said that managing the phenomenon of overwork in the automotive industry must be based on the principles of governing by law and regulations. He explained that overwork is not just a general decrease in market prices, but rather the result of violations, malicious intent, or disorderly competition. It is necessary to establish clear standards for what constitutes disorderly and in violation of regulations.
"It is not the case that any price reduction by companies is wrong. Prices are the most basic element of survival and competition for businesses. Normal competition based on prices is a driving force for survival of the fittest in the market," he said.
