On April 9th, the China International Chamber of Commerce member series event "Industry Salon Medicine Going Global" was successfully held at the LinkedIn Beijing office. The Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the China International Chamber of Commerce, Hong Party, attended the event and delivered a speech. Guests such as Zhang Fan, the pharmaceutical industry supervisor at the British Embassy in China; Xiao Shen, the expert of the Regulatory Science Committee of the DIA International Drug Information Association in China and Chief Scientific Officer of Libang Pharmaceuticals; Xia Tongmei, Senior Director of Business at Parexel; Fan Yichao, Executive Director of AstraZeneca-China Health Industry Fund and Executive Director of AstraZeneca Strategic Cooperation and Business Development Department; and Li Chengda, Assistant Director of the Biopharmaceutical Division of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Patent Trademark Agency, shared their insights on the theme. Hong Party stated in his speech that biopharmaceuticals are a key direction for cultivating new quality productivity, and the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" clearly promotes innovative drugs entering the international market.
