There are over 510,000 companies in our country involved in optical communication.

As of April 10, 2026, there are 516,000 optical communication-related companies in China. In terms of registration, in the whole year of 2025, the registration volume of optical communication-related companies in China increased by 12.2% year-on-year to 115,600, reaching a new high in annual registration volume in nearly ten years. In terms of regional distribution, the East China region had the highest registration volume of related companies in 2025, accounting for 35.8%, followed by the Central China region at 17.1%. As of April 10, 2026, China has registered 24,300 optical communication-related companies.
