The latest announcement from Sinopharm Group stated that in the first quarter of 2026, the company sold 1.2591 million heads of live pigs, a decrease of 0.60% year-on-year, with the selling price of live pigs at 11.22 yuan/kg; the production volume of feed was 245,555.35 tons, with sales of 2,391.28 tons, an increase of 2.78% year-on-year; the production volume of slaughtered meat was 20,957.10 tons, with sales of 20,361.65 tons, an increase of 71.80% year-on-year. The company warned that there may be monthly fluctuations in live pig sales in the future, and there is a systemic risk of price fluctuations in the live pig market.
