The latest data shows that in March of this year, China's automobile production and sales reached 2.917 million and 2.899 million respectively, representing a month-on-month increase of 74.4% and 60.6%. Experts believe that the rapid month-on-month growth in automobile production and sales in March not only complies with seasonal historical patterns, but also is directly related to the comprehensive implementation of subsidy regulations in various regions, the start of spring car exhibitions promotions, and the gradual launch of new products by car companies. In addition, automobile exports in March also showed unexpected growth. In March, automobile exports reached 875,000 units, with a month-on-month increase of 30.2% and a year-on-year increase of 72.7%. Among them, the export of new energy vehicles reached 371,000 units, an increase of 1.3 times compared to the previous year. Furthermore, from January to March, automobile exports reached 2.226 million units, a year-on-year increase of 56.7%. Among them, the export of new energy vehicles reached 954,000 units, an increase of 1.2 times compared to the previous year.
