Shandong: Within two years, create a green energy replenishment corridor covering the entire province for electric heavy trucks.

Recently, Shandong Province issued the implementation plan for the construction of high-power charging demonstration stations for electric heavy trucks on key transportation routes, as well as measures to support the large-scale application of electric heavy trucks. It is proposed that in the two years from 2026 to 2027, Shandong will comprehensively carry out the construction of demonstration stations on key road sections. In terms of expressways, 48 demonstration stations will be built at 24 service areas, covering the three major economic circles of the provincial capital, Jiaodong, and Lurong, connecting 16 cities, with a total mileage of over 2600 kilometers of the "four vertical and two horizontal" electric heavy truck green energy replenishment corridor. As for national and provincial roads, 107 demonstration stations will be built, completing the layout of 14 national and provincial trunk lines, forming a "four vertical and three horizontal" electric heavy truck green energy replenishment corridor covering 16 cities and a total mileage of over 6600 kilometers. At the same time, the penetration rate of electric heavy trucks will reach the national average within two years.
