National Bureau of Statistics: In March, after the long Spring Festival holiday, consumer demand seasonally declined, with the consumer price index for residents falling by 0.7% month-on-month and rising by 1.0% year-on-year, while the core CPI excluding food and energy prices increased by 1.1% year-on-year. Influenced by factors such as the rapid increase in international commodity prices and improvements in supply and demand relationships in some domestic industries, the producer price index for industrial products increased by 1.0% month-on-month and by 0.5% year-on-year.
