On April 9, 2026, Liao Min, Deputy Minister of Finance, was invited to visit the headquarters of the Asian Development Bank in the Philippines. During the visit, Liao Min attended the "China Talks" high-level seminar and the executive director dialogue, introducing the relevant situations of China's high-quality economic development, and exchanging views on cooperation between China and the Asian Development Bank. Liao Min stated that China's total economic output exceeded 140 trillion yuan last year, with economic growth remaining within a reasonable range and China's contribution to global economic growth at around 30%. China's economic structure continues to optimize, promoting green, low-carbon development and digital transformation, vigorously boosting consumption, and expanding effective investment. China is accelerating the implementation of an innovation-driven development strategy, with total factor productivity maintaining stable growth.
