Currently, the security situation in Mali remains severe and complex, with terrorist attacks occurring frequently outside the capital city of Bamako. Our embassy has issued multiple consular reminders, urging Chinese citizens to evacuate from dangerous areas as soon as possible. Some Chinese citizens have heeded the reminders and successfully avoided losses. However, there are still some individuals who have ignored the embassy's warnings and continue to illegally operate in extremely high-risk areas, resulting in significant losses. The Embassy of China in Mali once again reminds all Chinese citizens and businesses: 1. It is essential to operate legally and comply with regulations, as the Malian authorities cannot provide security protection for businesses operating illegally. 2. All Chinese citizens and businesses operating illegally in extremely high-risk areas or without the protection of the Malian authorities must immediately evacuate or move to safe areas. 3. Individuals who insist on going to or staying in extremely high-risk areas will face extremely high risks to their personal safety, and this may affect the timely provision of assistance.
