Golden Finance reported that Bitmine successfully announced its listing on the New York Stock Exchange ("NYSE") today. The company's common stock will begin trading on the NYSE on April 9, 2026, with the stock symbol remaining as "BMNR." Prior to this, the company had completed the transfer of its stock from the NYSE American market, with trading on that market halted as of the close of April 8, 2026. In addition to the listing upgrade, the Bitmine board unanimously approved an expansion of the company's stock buyback plan for 2025, increasing the authorized total from $10 billion to $40 billion. According to data provided by Fundstrat.com, this buyback plan ranks among the top ten stock buyback plans announced in 2026.

On April 9th, the average open interest (OI) of Bitcoin futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) dropped below $8 billion, reaching its lowest level since February 2024 when it dropped to $7.2 billion. The open interest volume has been decreasing for five consecutive months since November last year. At the same time, the monthly trading volume on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) in March also dropped to $163 billion, almost 50% lower than the peak in January 2025.
