Expand the Inner Mongolia China Pilot Free Trade Zone to 23 areas.

On April 9th, the State Council issued the "Overall Plan for China (Inner Mongolia) Free Trade Pilot Zone", expanding the scope of China's free trade pilot zones to 23. The "Overall Plan" proposes to grant Inner Mongolia's free trade pilot zone greater reform autonomy, encourage pioneering initiatives in a wider range of fields and deeper levels, carry out innovative, integrated, and differentiated explorations. It outlines 19 reform and innovation measures in areas such as promoting innovative development of border trade, strengthening international logistics services, enhancing the development level of energy and strategic resource industries, improving the efficiency of technology application and commercialization, and expanding multi-sector foreign exchanges. In terms of implementation, the total area of Inner Mongolia's free trade pilot zone is 119.74 square kilometers, covering three areas: Hohhot area (76.28 square kilometers), Manzhouli area (25.11 square kilometers), and Erenhot area (18.35 square kilometers).
