Italian, Spanish, Greek and Portuguese sovereign bond yields sharply reversed at the end of the session.
On Thursday in the European market, the yield on French 10-year government bonds increased by 4.5 basis points to 3.626% in the closing session, overall in a rising state. At 23:04 Beijing time, it surged to a daily high of 3.689% before quickly giving up the gains. The yield on two-year French bonds rose by 3.3 basis points to 2.690%, while the 30-year bond yield rose by 6.0 basis points to 4.488%, briefly hitting a daily high of 4.532% at 23:04. The yield on Italian 10-year government bonds increased by 4.6 basis points to 3.752%, with a peak of 3.829% at 23:04. The yield on Spanish 10-year government bonds rose by 5.0 basis points to 3.433%, and the yield on Greek 10-year government bonds increased by 4.6 basis points to 3.720%.
