Due to the impact of the Iran conflict, Asian customers are frantically buying oil to replace the oil cut off from the Middle East, and it is expected that the US crude oil exports in April will reach a historic high. The oil research organization Kpler estimates that this month, US crude oil exports will increase by nearly one-third from March's daily rate of 3.9 million barrels to 5.2 million barrels per day. Among them, demand from Asian customers will surge by 82% to 2.5 million barrels per day. According to Kpler's statistics, there are currently 68 empty oil tankers heading to the US, compared to only 24 the week before the outbreak of the war on February 28, and the average level last year was only 27.
