According to the monitoring of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, on April 8, the "Farm Produce Wholesale Price Index 200" was 117.64, a decrease of 0.15 points from the previous day, and the "Basket of Vegetables" product wholesale price index was 118.50, a decrease of 0.17 points from yesterday. As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork in the national agricultural product wholesale market is 15.02 yuan/kg, a decrease of 1.4% from yesterday; beef is 66.63 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.2% from yesterday; lamb is 64.26 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.2% from yesterday; eggs are 7.74 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.6% from yesterday; and chicken breast is 17.29 yuan/kg, unchanged from yesterday. The average price of 28 key monitored vegetables is 4.51 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.4% from yesterday; and the average price of 6 key monitored fruits is 7.61 yuan/kg, a decrease of 1.3% from yesterday. Crucian carp is 19.76 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.3% from yesterday; carp is 14.46 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.4% from yesterday; white carp is 10.28 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.1% from yesterday; and bighead fish is 40.94 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.3% from yesterday. Today, among the 46 varieties of fresh agricultural products monitored in the domestic wholesale market, the top five in terms of price increase compared to yesterday are shiitake mushrooms, duck pears, spinach, lettuce, and watermelon, with increases of 3.0%, 2.1%, 1.6%, 1.0%, and 0.9% respectively; and the top five in terms of price decrease are Kyoho grapes, shallots, winter melon, cauliflower, and cabbage, with decreases of 5.0%, 3.3%, 2.6%, 2.4%, and 2.4% respectively.
