As of the close of the day, the light crude oil futures prices for delivery in May on the New York Mercantile Exchange rose by 87 cents to settle at $112.41 per barrel, an increase of 0.78%; the Brent crude oil futures prices for delivery in June rose by 74 cents to settle at $109.77 per barrel, an increase of 0.68%.
