One of Russia's largest oil refineries, the Norsi refinery owned by Lukoil Company, caught fire in Ukraine after the latest attack on Russian energy infrastructure. Local governor Gleb Nikin said on Sunday that the wreckage of a downed drone damaged two facilities at the Norsi refinery in the Novgorod region about 450 kilometers east of Moscow, and the fire was subsequently brought under control. Nikin mentioned that the Novhorod thermal power plant and several residential buildings were also damaged. According to Leningrad region governor Alexander Drozdenko, the local air defense system shot down 19 drones, including targets near the Baltic Sea port of Primorsk. A drone fragment hit an oil tank, causing a fuel leak, but "the consequences have been eliminated," he said, adding that the pipelines were not damaged.
