An oil refinery in Abu Dhabi caught fire due to debris from an air defense interception.

The media office of Abu Dhabi, UAE reported on the 5th that multiple fires were caused by the debris generated after the interception of incoming projectiles by the air defense system at the Borouge petrochemical plant, currently no casualties have been reported. According to the report, relevant emergency departments have quickly responded to the fires. The plant has been temporarily shut down and will resume operations after further assessment of the losses.
