Beijing launches special campaign "Clearing the air, gathering efforts for clean broadcasting" for live ecological governance.

In order to improve the level of standardized governance of local online live streaming platforms and build a clean online live streaming ecosystem, the Beijing Cyberspace Administration, in conjunction with the Municipal Committee Propaganda Department, Municipal Market Supervision Bureau, Municipal Culture and Tourism Bureau, Municipal Public Security Bureau, Municipal Radio and Television Bureau, and Municipal Cultural Law Enforcement Team, jointly launched the "Clean Beijing, Power of Clear Broadcasting" special action for the governance of live streaming ecology. This special action will last for one month, focusing on joint governance of "four types of chaos and two types of problems", specifically including: inappropriate dissemination of erroneous values in live broadcasts, false marketing in live broadcasts, infringement of the rights of minors in live broadcasts, inappropriate profit-making in live broadcasts, as well as issues related to illegal operations and criminal activities.
