According to the information from the China Trade Remedies Information website, on April 2, 2026, the Anti-Dumping Commission of Australia issued Notice No. 2026/042, modifying the security deposit determined for the anti-dumping and anti-subsidy preliminary ruling on imported hot-rolled steel coils from China as follows: Considering the termination of the anti-subsidy investigation of Baoshan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd., Baosteel Zhanjiang Iron & Steel Co., Ltd., Shanghai Meishan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd., and Hunan Valin Lianyuan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd., temporary anti-subsidy duties will not be imposed; The temporary anti-dumping duties for the above four exporters are as follows: Baoshan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. at 104.1%, Baosteel Zhanjiang Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. at 36.0%, Shanghai Meishan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. at 64.6%, and Hunan Valin Lianyuan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. at 38.9%; The anti-dumping and anti-subsidy duties for other Chinese exporters remain unchanged at 116.9%. On November 15, 2024, the Anti-Dumping Commission of Australia issued Notice No. 2024/093, stating that in response to the application submitted by the domestic Australian company BlueScope Steel Limited, an anti-dumping and anti-subsidy investigation was initiated on imported hot-rolled steel coils from China. On December 23, 2025, the Anti-Dumping Commission of Australia issued Notice No. 2025/133, affirming the affirmative preliminary ruling on the case.
