On April 3, Cici, the general manager of Xiaomi's China market department, posted: "Although we have been trying to control the impact of memory price increases on terminal prices, the current trend and magnitude of memory price increases far exceed expectations. In order to ensure the normal supply and stable quality of products, we have to adjust the suggested retail prices of some products. This adjustment involves three models: starting from April 11, the price of the REDMI K90 Pro Max will increase by 200 yuan, the discounts for the Turbo 5 and Turbo 5 Max will be canceled, and an additional 200 yuan subsidy will continue for the 512GB large memory. We will try our best to minimize the impact of memory price increases on as few models as possible, and ask for your understanding."
