The White House announced that President Trump has signed a "proclamation" related to metal tariffs. The United States will impose a 25% tariff on steel, aluminum, and copper derivatives. The tariff on metal derivatives applies to items with at least 15% metal content. At the same time, the US will impose a 100% tariff on prescription drugs but will "comply" with the exemption clause.
