Starting from April 1st, our country officially enters the flood season. In order to effectively ensure the safety of transportation and production stability, the Ministry of Transport has decided to carry out a major risk investigation and rectification work on transportation safety production during the 2026 flood season starting from April 1st, divided into three regions: southern, central, and northern. The investigation will be carried out from south to north, covering areas such as road operations, water transportation, port channels, road transportation, urban passenger transportation, and road and water transportation engineering construction. At the same time, in conjunction with meteorological warning information, efforts will be coordinated to actively defend against and respond to the flood season. From now on, we will continue to launch specific measures under the "Flood Prevention and Transportation Action" column to implement proactive defense and control during the flood season, and deeply carry out investigations and rectifications of major risk hazards, weaving a tight flood protection net and fighting the flood prevention "proactively".
