Baidu Health Releases China's First Task-Based Medical AI Assistant with an "Lobster" Mode Embedded
Journalists learned from Baidu Health that its AI product "AI Medical Assistant" aimed at the doctor group was officially launched this morning. This product is the first in the country to deeply integrate authoritative medical retrieval and task-oriented AI execution into a full-scenario doctor's work platform. "AI Medical Assistant" includes two core modes of retrieval and tasks: the retrieval mode is based on millions of medical data to support authoritative evidence tracing, aiming to create a "Chinese version of OpenEvidence"; The task mode is based on the Claw framework, which can independently complete complex tasks such as academic research, paper writing, and patient follow-up, achieving the leap from "information retrieval" to "task completion" in medical AI. Baidu Health also revealed that "AI Medical Assistant" has opened the retrieval mode experience on the App side, and the task mode will gradually be opened for use. Regarding medical data privacy, the product has built a five-level medical-grade security protection system including data isolation and encrypted communication.
