According to news from Shenzhen Special Zone Daily, the "Embodied Intelligence Robot Guangdong Provincial Engineering Research Center" proposed by the Shenzhen Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Research Institute has been approved for establishment by the Guangdong Provincial Development and Reform Commission. It is reported that this is the fourth provincial platform approved by AIRS in the field of embodied intelligence and robotics, marking the construction of a complete innovation matrix covering industry services, technological breakthroughs, pilot testing, engineering applications, thus providing systematic platform support for Guangdong's creation of a globally influential intelligent robot industry hub. Specifically, the Embodied Intelligence Robot Guangdong Provincial Engineering Research Center aims to promote the engineering application and large-scale promotion of embodied intelligent robots in areas such as electricity, transportation, and healthcare as its core goal. It focuses on the application verification and transformation of embodied intelligent pedestal models, robot body systems, and multi-agent scheduler systems, simultaneously carrying out the training of composite talents for industry engineering applications to provide large-scale application support for Guangdong's embodied intelligence industry.
