COMEX gold futures rose by 2.27% to $4784.90 per ounce, rising from $4690 to $4821. Spot silver fell by 0.09% to $75.0995 per ounce, while COMEX silver futures rose by 0.54% to $75.320 per ounce. COMEX copper futures fell by 0.49% to $5.6230 per pound. Spot platinum rose by 0.58% while spot palladium remained steady.
