The British Prime Minister responds to Trump's criticism of UK military strength, saying to ignore the noise.
In the latest interview, President Trump of the United States once again complained that allies did not support US military action against Iran, saying he is "strongly considering pulling the US out of NATO". He also criticized British Prime Minister Stamer, mocking and belittling the UK's military strength. In response, Stamer stated in a press conference on April 1 that regardless of how much "noise" there is from the outside, he will act in the best interests of the UK. Regarding the US strikes on Iran, Stamer reaffirmed, "This is not our war". He also emphasized that maintaining strong relationships with both the US and Europe is in the UK's interests, but in terms of defense security, energy, and the economy, the UK needs to establish closer ties with Europe. During this press conference aimed at easing public concerns about rising energy costs in the UK, Stamer stated that the impact of this war will "define our generation" and may be similar to the energy price spikes of the 1970s.
