According to the Yunnan Provincial Work Safety Committee, the Yunnan Provincial Work Safety Committee recently issued a "Notice on Supervision and Enforcement of Major Production Safety Accidents" for a road traffic accident involving 12 types of vehicles and causing 4 deaths in Xuanwei City, Yunnan Province. It was decided to implement supervision and enforcement on this case. It is reported that on February 28, 2026, a road traffic accident involving 12 types of vehicles occurred in Xuanwei, Qujing, resulting in the deaths of 4 people. The Yunnan Provincial Work Safety Committee has requested the Qujing Municipal People's Government to form an accident investigation team in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations such as the Regulations on Reporting and Investigation of Production Safety Accidents, to quickly conduct an accident investigation, ascertain the cause of the accident as soon as possible, and strictly follow the requirements of the accident investigation regulations to come up with handling suggestions.
