The yield on long-term Japanese government bonds has decreased. Prior to this, US President Trump stated that he expects the US to end the war with Iran within two to three weeks. In addition, the Bank of Japan is maintaining its purchase plan for government bonds with a maturity of 25 years or longer. The yield on 40-year government bonds fell by 12 basis points to 3.795%, the yield on 30-year bonds fell by 9.5 basis points to 3.62%, and the yield on 20-year bonds fell by 7.5 basis points to 3.205%.
