Some Galaxy Watch models of Samsung will have added blood pressure monitoring function.
Samsung Electronics is introducing blood pressure monitoring functionality for its wearable devices, allowing some Galaxy Watch users to track their blood pressure through the wrist. The feature is scheduled to be released on Wednesday. The tool will be pushed to Galaxy Watch 4 and newer models, and users must download the "Samsung Health Monitor" app and use a third-party cuff-style blood pressure monitor for initial calibration. The feature requires initial calibration using a third-party blood pressure monitor, and must be recalibrated every 28 days to maintain accuracy; the feature is not intended for diagnosis of diseases or other conditions.
