In the European market at the close on Tuesday, the yield on UK 10-year government bonds fell by 1.7 basis points to 4.918%, with a cumulative increase of 68.5 basis points in March and a cumulative increase of 41.8 basis points in the first quarter. The yield on UK 2-year bonds fell by 4.3 basis points to 4.409%, with a cumulative increase of 85.7 basis points in March and a cumulative increase of 67.8 basis points in the first quarter. The yield on UK 30-year bonds fell by 1.8 basis points to 5.525%, with a cumulative increase of 48.2 basis points in March; the yield on UK 50-year bonds fell by 1.2 basis points to 5.079%, with a cumulative increase of 44.8 basis points in March. The 2/10-year bond yield spread in the UK increased by 2.593 basis points to +50.523 basis points, with a cumulative decrease of 20.300 basis points in March.
