The report shows that in 2025, the amount of housing provident fund deposits in Guangzhou reached 1376.48 billion yuan, hitting a new historical high. Up to now, the amount of housing provident fund deposits in Guangzhou has exceeded one trillion yuan for five consecutive years. In 2025, Guangzhou had 185,600 depositing units, a year-on-year increase of 5.15%; the amount of deposits reached 1376.48 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4.87%. Throughout the year, 2.7484 million depositors withdrew a total of 1141.26 billion yuan, with a year-on-year increase of 0.76% in withdrawals. 44,900 individual housing loans were issued, with a total amount of 43.041 billion yuan, representing year-on-year increases of 16.19% and 40.25% respectively. As a pilot city in the country, Guangzhou continued to deepen the participation of flexible employment personnel in the housing provident fund system. By the end of 2025, a total of 119,800 flexible employment personnel had opened accounts, with a total deposit amount of 1.331 billion yuan; 709 flexible employment personnel loans were issued, with a total amount of 286 million yuan.
