Sina Finance reported on March 31st that the world's largest tonnage extended-range rotary drilling rig was launched in Changsha, Hunan. The operating weight of this drilling rig reaches 200 tons, with a torque of 620,000 Nm and a hole diameter of 3500 millimeters. It has achieved key breakthroughs in multiple motor synchronization, sudden change of large load buffering control, and main winch energy recovery, obtaining more than ten related authorized patents. It realizes high-precision synchronization of multiple motor speeds and torques. The service life of the drilling rod and tools is extended by 20%, impact vibration is reduced by 15%, energy recovery rate exceeds 70%, and the highest degree of recovery per single descent is up to 5 degrees. It can be used for cabin heating and battery auxiliary heating in low-temperature environments, achieving comprehensive energy savings of 5% to 10%. The series of drilling rigs released this time not only retain the energy-saving and environmental protection advantages of pure electric drive but also solve the pain points of traditional pure electric equipment in terms of "range anxiety", greatly reducing energy consumption costs. They also have the advantages of high motor torque, fast response, and low noise, supporting the switching of pure electric, extended-range, and plug-in modes. They provide strong support for applications such as ultra-large-scale bridge and high-speed rail pile foundation engineering, green construction requirements in strict urban and sensitive areas, and outdoor infrastructure projects in areas with insufficient power grid coverage in plateaus, mountainous regions, etc.
