The first domestic shield tunnel boring machine for pluggable pipe jacking high-speed railway tunnel has been completed.

Sina Finance reported on March 31st that today, China's independently developed super large diameter shield tunneling machine, "Fengjue," was successfully launched in Nantong, Jiangsu, and will be used for the Yangtze River tunnel project of the Yancheng-Yixing High-speed Railway. This project is the first high-speed railway shield tunnel in China to use socketed pipe segments. The construction of the tunnel will promote China's super large diameter underwater shield tunnel towards the era of fully intelligent construction.
