Sina Finance reported on March 30th that the British Maritime Trade Operations office issued a security advisory on the same day, stating that during the statistical period from February 28th to 3:00 PM on March 30th, the agency had received a total of 24 reports of incidents involving ship safety. The incidents mainly occurred in the Persian Gulf, the Strait of Hormuz, and the Gulf of Oman. According to the advisory, 16 of the reports were classified as attack incidents, and 8 were reported as suspicious activities. The agency stated that the incidents involved ships sailing in the aforementioned areas, and the situation is still being monitored and reported on. The Strait of Hormuz is one of the world's important energy transportation routes.
