In addition, changes such as climate warming and increased precipitation have led to the continuous expansion of breeding grounds for Aedes mosquitoes in China, and the duration of the epidemic season continues to extend. Experts predict that the risk of imported foreign epidemics of key mosquito-borne infectious diseases such as dengue fever and chikungunya fever causing local spread will increase in 2026 compared to previous years, and there is a risk of localized outbreaks in some areas.
