Construction of Hong Kong's largest computing infrastructure project has begun, with operations expected to commence within 42 months.
Sina Finance News on March 30th, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Shaling Data Park was held on the 28th in Sha Ling, New Territories, Hong Kong. This is the largest and highest computing power infrastructure project in Hong Kong, expected to be put into operation within 42 months. The investment in the first three years will reach HK$23.8 billion, creating approximately HK$4.6 billion in economic output and 180 technical positions. By 2032, the computing power of the park can reach 180,000 PFLOPS, equivalent to 36 times the current computing power in Hong Kong.
