Stargate delays expansion, Microsoft takes over Crusoe Texas Data Center Phase 2.

Sina Finance reports on March 30th that Microsoft recently reached a cooperation agreement with data center developer Crusoe to officially lease 700 megawatts of computing power capacity in the second phase of the Abilene Park project in Texas, USA, further solidifying the infrastructure layout of artificial intelligence computing power. It is reported that the Abilene Park in Texas is the location of the "Stargate" AI data center phase one project created by OpenAI in partnership with Oracle, with a construction scale of 1.2 gigawatts in the first phase. The second phase of the park was originally planned for expansion of the "Stargate" project. With OpenAI adjusting its computing power layout and increasing capacity in other regions, Microsoft successfully reached this leasing agreement, and previously Meta also expressed cooperation intentions for the park site.
