Beijing launches development and application of commercial insurance for smart connected new energy vehicles.

Today, it was learned from the Beijing Financial Regulatory Bureau that Beijing has taken the lead in launching the development and application of commercial insurance products for intelligent connected new energy vehicles nationwide. It is reported that in recent years, with the rapid development of the intelligent connected automobile industry and the widespread application of cutting-edge technologies such as intelligent driving, traffic accident risk factors, scenarios, and loss forms have changed. Existing commercial motor vehicle insurance is difficult to accurately adapt to the specific loss causes, usage scenarios, and unique software and hardware device losses of intelligent connected vehicles. In order to meet the new needs of the industry and consumers, the Beijing Financial Regulatory Bureau, under the guidance of the Financial Regulatory Bureau and the support of the Beijing Municipal Party Committee and Government, has taken the lead in developing and applying exclusive products nationwide in a pioneering manner.
