Argentinian President Mirole said on social media on the 27th that the ruling made by a US court that day on the compensation case involving the national oil company of Argentina, in which the government holds shares, was "the best result." The ruling determined that the Argentinian government does not need to pay the compensation of up to 16.1 billion US dollars. The US Federal Second Circuit Court of Appeals in New York overturned the previous ruling of the Southern District of New York Federal Court, which had ordered the Argentinian government to pay compensation, stating that the Southern District of New York Federal Court "erroneously supported" the claims of former shareholders who alleged losses due to the nationalization of the national oil company.
