The first national International Commercial Mediation Institute has been established and will start enrolling students in September.
On March 27th, the first national international commercial mediation academy jointly established by the Heilongjiang Provincial Department of Justice, the Heilongjiang Provincial Department of Education, Harbin University of Commerce, and the Heilongjiang Mediation Association was formally established. With the deepening of opening up to the outside world, the demand for international commercial dispute resolution is becoming increasingly urgent. The establishment of this academy aims to fill the talent gap in foreign commercial mediation and serve the construction of a new highland for opening up in the north. The academy innovatively constructs a "dual mentorship, segmented training" model, breaking through the disciplinary boundaries between traditional law and business, deepening the intersection of law with technology and economics, exploring a new mechanism for integrated bachelors, masters, and doctoral degree programs, and dual degree joint training. The academy mainly carries out academic education, training of talents in foreign commercial mediation, and academic research in international commercial mediation, and will start enrollment of academic education programs in September. After graduation, students will work in legal service organizations such as commercial mediation organizations and arbitration institutions to resolve international civil and commercial disputes.
